| Dear EUROCORR 2020 authors, In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in escalated global health concerns, travel restrictions and related government advisories, the EUROCORR 2020 local organising committee, in consultation with the EFC, has decided, with much regret, to cancel the physical EUROCORR 2020 Congress scheduled for September in Brussels to protect the attendees, staff, and the EFC community. Although EUROCORR 2020 will not take place in Brussels, the International Scientific Committee, the EFC Frankfurt office, together with the EUROCORR Congress Secretariat at DECHEMA, are working hard to transform this year’s EUROCORR into an online event in order to serve our international corrosion community and maintain the momentum we have established over the years even in these demanding and challenging times. Today, we have great pleasure in inviting you to an online meeting via Zoom on 28 May 2020, to present to you the concept of the virtual EUROCORR. Details will follow soon.
