Tisztelt HUNKOR Tagok, kedves Olvasó!
Ezúton továbbítom és ajánlom figyelmükbe az európai szintű fenntartható gazdaság tevékenységkörének jelenlegi állapotát:
Dear TWG members,
We hope you had a nice summertime and that this email finds you well. We would like to provide you with the following updates:
1/ New Qlik update
A new version of the STM Qlik App has been released today, 12 September 2025, including the latest data from questionnaires submitted up to this date. As usual, a non-CBI version is available at the following link: https://web.jrc.ec.europa.eu/dashboard/STM_BREF_REVIEW/. A CBI version of the STM Qlik App is available at the following link: https://web.jrc.ec.europa.eu/dashboard/STM_BREF_REVIEW_CBI/, with access granted only to those Member States (MS) representatives who have signed the non-disclosure agreement. Please note that a new filter pane was added to the sheet on emissions to water, enabling to filter installations relevant for a specific parameter by selecting the respective type of metal used in at least one line or one process of the installation.
2/ Assessment of comments on the first draft of the STM BREF
We are currently continuing with the assessment of the comments received on the first draft of the STM BREF (D1). We would like to thank you again for your valuable contributions, which will help us improve the quality of the document. The assessment process is ongoing, and we will be in close contact with the TWG in the coming months for further exchanges and feedback where needed. We are also taking into account the bulk information provided, which will be essential in finalising the revised STM BREF.
3/ PFAS study
Finally, we are pleased to inform you that a study is being conducted regarding PFAS in the surface treatment of metals and plastics sector. This study aims to gather information on the use and emissions to water of PFAS in the sector. We hope its outcomes will be valuable for the development of the revised STM BREF and will contribute to a better understanding of the environmental impacts associated with PFAS in the sector.
We would like to thank you for your ongoing collaboration and look forward to sharing the results of the PFAS study with you in due time. If you have any questions or would like to know more about the study, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Kind regards,
Elke, George and Damien.
